Luxembourg is the first country in the world to offer nationwide free public transport. Whether by train, bus or tram – no ticket is needed. Just hop on and enjoy unlimited, free mobility throughout the IVV Olympiad 2027.

Getting to Luxembourg

Train

By train
Luxembourg City is well connected to the European rail network. From Paris, Trier, Saarbrücken or Brussels, take a direct train to the central station – then simply continue by free tram or bus to the Coque.

Car

By car
Luxembourg lies at the intersection of the A1, A3, A4 and A6 motorways. Park & Ride (P+R) facilities are available with direct connections to the free public transport network.

Plane

By air
Luxembourg Airport (LUX) is just 10–15 minutes from the event venue. Bus line 16 and the tram take you straight to the Coque – at no cost.
