Family Day with mascot Flumpi
“As a family, we all move together”
As part of the IVV Olympiad, Family Day – under the patronage of Flumpi the walking rabbit – is a fun-filled, colourful day with plenty of games, laughter and music. This family-friendly day is aimed at families who want to get some fresh air, exercise and enjoy wonderful adventures together, without the stress of a traditional competition. Participants are free to choose between the three sports activities on offer – walking, swimming or cycling – or select just one. Nothing is compulsory, and everything is allowed! For those who choose to take part in all three activities, it is all about being active and having fun in a kind of joyful “family triathlon”.
On Family Day, performance is not the most important thing, especially since several routes are also accessible to wheelchairs. The focus is on having fun and enjoying a healthy activity together. Everyone sets their own pace, without the pressure of a stop-watch or a ranking.
